Frequently Asked Questions !!

MyShout is an application to alert family and friends during an emergency. It is also an app for family and friends to communicate and stay connected through its chat platform and safe check-in feature. Photos and voice messages can be exchanged through the chat platform.
A mobile phone to download the app is all that you need to use it.
An emergency alert could be an accident, kidnapping, robbery, or any other emergency. When you click on any of the three buttons, an alert message along with the map of the location of the event/emergency will be sent to the people that you designated in your MyShout account to receive your alert messages.
The Shout Alert button allows you to send a five-second audio message to the people that you designated in your MyShout account as your emergency contacts. When you are in danger, and the emergency is not an accident, kidnapping, or robbery, press and hold the Shout Alert button down for five seconds as you shout out the emergency. When you release the button, the App would have recorded your voice. The five-second audio record will be sent to your emergency contacts along with the map of your location or your last known location.
